MyRead supports teachers of underperforming students in the middle years (Years 4 - 9).
MyRead is based on the beliefs that:
- All students can be successful readers
- All teachers are teachers of reading
- Teachers make a difference
- Monitoring and assessment inform teaching and learning
- Teachers need a repertoire of flexible practices

Reading for Research
Following the format of guides in MyRead, Michelle Morthorpe and Rebecca Cusick developed Reading for Research. This uses the framework of the Four Resources Model (Freebody & Luke, 1990).
